60-Day Pre-Owned Club Trial

Buying pre-owned golf equipment should not feel like a gamble. Eligible pre-owned golf clubs sold by SKRATCH GOLF come with our 60-Day Pre-Owned Club Trial, giving you time to test the club properly and decide whether it is right for your game.

This trial is an additional SKRATCH GOLF benefit. It does not replace, restrict or reduce any rights you have under UK consumer law.

How the 60-day trial works

The trial period starts on the day your order is delivered.

Days 1–30: If you decide the club is not right for you, you can return it and, once the return has been inspected and accepted under this trial policy, we will refund the item purchase price to your original payment method. Any delivery charges that must be refunded under your statutory rights will also be refunded.
Days 31–60: You can return the club for SKRATCH GOLF store credit equal to the item purchase price.

The 60-day trial applies only to eligible pre-owned golf clubs that are advertised as including the trial.

You can play and test the club

This is a genuine trial, so reasonable testing and normal golf use are expected. However, the club must be returned in materially the same condition in which it was supplied, allowing for reasonable use during the trial.

The trial may not apply where a club has been damaged beyond reasonable testing, abused, neglected or altered after delivery. This includes permanent changes such as cutting or extending the shaft, re-shafting, loft or lie alterations, refinishing or personalisation unless SKRATCH GOLF agreed to the change in writing.

Any headcover, adjustment tool or other accessory supplied with the club must also be returned.

Returning a club under the trial

Contact SKRATCH GOLF before sending the club back so we can provide the correct return instructions. Please package the club securely and use a tracked and appropriately insured delivery service.

For a voluntary change-of-mind or 60-day trial return, the customer is responsible for the direct cost of return postage. The item remains your responsibility until it is received by SKRATCH GOLF.

Faulty, incorrect or not as described items

If an item is faulty, incorrect or materially not as described, please contact us rather than using the voluntary trial process. Your statutory rights apply and, where appropriate, SKRATCH GOLF will cover reasonable return costs or provide a suitable return method.

Your statutory cancellation rights

For online purchases, your legal right to cancel within the applicable statutory period operates separately from this 60-day trial. Where the law requires us to refund standard outbound delivery charges or provide another remedy, we will do so.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.
